I had an absolutely fabulous 4 days away with 27 other dedicated scrappers with Scrap Girls at Castlereagh Academy - and scrapped up a total of 17 single LOs, 1 double, and an OTP!!!! I also learnt to make the cutest little rolled fabric flowers, which will shortly be appearing all over my LOs!!
How often do you hear the question "What's for dinner?"
I am sooo over hearing it, that I created this menu board from chipboard and a transperancy, and stuck it to the fridge, so the kids can find out for themselves what's on!
Its finally happened!!! Aiden's tooth started wobbling a couple of weeks after he started school in February. The last week or so, it became really really loose, to the point where he wouldn't eat anything except homemade Pumpkin Soup, as it hurt too much to chew! On Wednesday night, he was complaining about how much it was hurting, so I offered him some Panadol. I asked him to show me the tooth before he had his medicine. I put my finger on it, and out it came!!!! Here he is with his gap and his tooth fairy bag (tooth safely enclosed) just before bed. On Thursday morning, he came running in to me, screaming "I'm rich! I'm rich! The tooth fairy left me GOLD!!!!" - yep, one piece of gold. A whole dollar coin.
The day has finally come where the kids MUST wear their winter uniforms.
Beth was happy as to be back in hers, but Aiden wasn't too sure about the whole tie idea.
He eventually succumbed, and personally, I think he looks quite handsome!
The kids are onto their second week of school holidays.... they have been to see How To Train Your Dragon, attended a dress up party, started setting up our fish tank, had a sleepover, and tonight we are going to the drive-in to see Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang....
Then of course.... there's what the dogs have been up to....
Our Chynna girl and her friends next door have been so determined to play with each other, they broke a paling in half, then pushed it out.... which gave them - not quite enough space to get thru!
While that paling has been replaced, the girls are now working on others...
Mum to two wonderful munchkins and an ancient furball, I adore papercrafting in all its forms. I also love to sew, renovate, and restore old furniture.
My love of Owls stems from my great-aunt (who was 101 recently) - she gave each of us kids an animal the day we were born, and expanded our collections at Christmas and on our birthdays. I now have just under 1000 of the beautiful creatures in my home.
