A Long Time Between Visits

So I've done it again..... left it waaaaaay too long between visits!!!

I've started a new job which I am absolutely loving, even if it is really full on!!!

I've even managed to get the kids out for a photo shoot!

I can't wait for this weekend - away with the ScrapGirls again for Christmas in July - it will be just like a real European winter up at Kurrajong - and yep - I'm seriously expecting snow!!!
and I have all these gorgeous pics to scrap!

I've won my first scrapping challenge in a long time over at Challenge Heaven

Promise to be back sooner next time!

ScrapGirls May Retreat

I had an absolutely fabulous 4 days away with 27 other dedicated scrappers with Scrap Girls at Castlereagh Academy - and scrapped up a total of 17 single LOs, 1 double, and an OTP!!!!  I also learnt to make the cutest little rolled fabric flowers, which will shortly be appearing all over my LOs!!

How often do you hear the question "What's for dinner?"
I am sooo over hearing it, that I created this menu board from chipboard and a transperancy, and stuck it to the fridge, so the kids can find out for themselves what's on!

I've also found a great new place for scrappy challenges - Challenge Heaven.
There are monthly sketch, Word, Number, Colour and Quote challenges, and cybercrops, blind scraps, and a really nice bunch of scrappers!

Gummy Bear!

Its finally happened!!! Aiden's tooth started wobbling a couple of weeks after he started school in February.  The last week or so, it became really really loose, to the point where he wouldn't eat anything except homemade Pumpkin Soup, as it hurt too much to chew!  On Wednesday night, he was complaining about how much it was hurting, so I offered him some Panadol.  I asked him to show me the tooth before he had his medicine.  I put my finger on it, and out it came!!!!  Here he is with his gap and his tooth fairy bag (tooth safely enclosed) just before bed.  On Thursday morning, he came running in to me, screaming "I'm rich! I'm rich! The tooth fairy left me GOLD!!!!" - yep, one piece of gold.  A whole dollar coin.

Winter uniforms!

The day has finally come where the kids MUST wear their winter uniforms.
Beth was happy as to be back in hers, but Aiden wasn't too sure about the whole tie idea.
He eventually succumbed, and personally, I think he looks quite handsome!

Oh - and she scrubs up all right too!

School Holidays

The kids are onto their second week of school holidays.... they have been to see How To Train Your Dragon, attended a dress up party, started setting up our fish tank, had a sleepover, and tonight we are going to the drive-in to see Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang....

Then of course.... there's what the dogs have been up to....
Our Chynna girl and her friends next door have been so determined to play with each other, they broke a paling in half, then pushed it out....  which gave them - not quite enough space to get thru!

While that paling has been replaced, the girls are now working on others...

Happy Easter Everyone!!!!

Well  the bunny has been and gone, and aside from leaving lots of chocolate (which the kids had for breakfast), he also ledt a trail of footprints through our house!
Miss Beth (who lost another tooth this morning) was pretty darn impressed, even if our Chynna dog had smudged one of them!
